History Sings: Woody’s World

The Woody’s World program includes many of the iconic songs written and performed by Woody Guthrie. Additionally, we include songs that Woody played and listened to. This program details Woody’s life and the subjects of his songs including the Dust Bowl, Labor Movement, World War ll, and at least one of his famous children’s songs.

Woody’s World is performed by musician and music researcher Tom Naples and public history historian/musician Mike Frisch. They accompany themselves on guitar, banjo, and fiddle.
